Grid Island Energy Transition Scenarios Assessment Through Network Reliability and Power Flow Analysis

چکیده

This paper presents a methodology for the reliability and power flow analysis of islands or off-grid networks situations scarce data information. It offers new pragmatic approach to derive required network information, including cable parameters load at each node. The aims present developed methodology, illustrate its application, using Ushant Island as case study. assessment current status are presented. Grid performance further compared conventional diesel generator operation renewable energy generation scenarios, demonstrating advantages replacing existing units with sources in terms system reliability. shows that by introducing systems island’s grid, grid increases up 50% capacity usage reduces 30%. Furthermore, this work suggests it would not be necessary modify cables when substituting generator. will interest planners, community stakeholders, project developers decision-makers concerned investment on remote rural areas.
